The Sound Lounge – Sutton

We're back at The Sound Lounge in Sutton to launch our new album, Imperfect Stranger. Exclusive album launch show!

Imperfect Stranger is the new album from The Steve Eggs Band and it will be officially released and showcased at The Sound Lounge on Friday April 11th.

Recorded in the very comfortable surroundings of Surrey's Temple Music Studios and produced by the band and Tim Pennells, the album contains 11 brand new songs. In something of a departure from previous releases, these new compositions are a far more collaborative effort by the group. However, they still bear the mark of Steve's outstanding skill with melody and lyrics and his ability to find a great hook. The album also has a harder edge to it and is something of a tour de force from guitarist Jon Kershaw. In short, it's an album that rocks!

There will be a limited run of CDs for this album and they will be available on the night and ahead of any release on streaming platforms.

We will be joined by Singer/Songwriter Ana Gracey who will be performing with her band Doxey Box, Ana is the daughter of jazz/rock legends Barbara Thompson & Jon Hiseman. She has been singing, writing and recording since she was a little girl and has featured on countless recordings as a session singer, artist and songwriter. Singing has taken her all over the world but she now resides in the UK managing the recording studio and publishing company set up by her late father.

2025 will see the release of a new album, the culmination of several years of work, showcasing themes close to Ana’s heart both personal and universal from lyrical singer-songwriter to cinematic pop.
